Chest, waist and hip are measured flat, so the full circumference is double that number. Inseam is the actual length. The size advice goes by the hip, because that is where a bib has to fit.
How to measure
- Chest: lay the bib flat and measure straight across the top panel at its widest.
- Waist: lay the bib flat and measure straight across at the waist.
- Hip: lay the bib flat and measure straight across at the widest point below the waist.
- Inseam: from the crotch seam straight down the inner leg to the hem.
Easiest check: measure a pair of pants you already like the fit of and compare the hip.
